The park lies at the eastern end of Harrold village but is actually within the parish boundaries of Odell. It is a wonderful amenity shared by the people of North Bedfordshire, and visited by people from far beyond the county boundaries.

If you venture north over the county line to Northamptonshire, then you will find a hidden treasure at Stanwick Lakes. A quarry previously, it has now been transformed into a fabulous nature reserve with a huge climbing and exploration area for children of all ages. Masses of space to run and play and picnic all day long.
Priory Country Park is an established green area, of around 360 acres, made up of lakes, meadows and woodland, all partially enclosed within a bend in the river Great Ouse.
In the heart of the Marston Vale Community Forest, this former clay pit is now managed as a Country Park. The lake attracts a rich variety of birds, particularly in winter. Water sports also take place on the lake.

This park is owned jointly by Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and managed by The Greensand Trust. The whole area is approximately 26o acres with the main park comprising of 80.
One of the highest points in Bedfordshire, with views of Sharpenhoe Clappers, this Country Park is a picturesque mixture of beech and ash woodland and steeply wooded coombes.
Managed in partnership with the National Trust, it is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest and it comes within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the John Bunyan Trail passing through it.
There is a car park, a small picnic area and some interesting walks.
