Guides (10 years +)
Guides are girls 10 - 14+. There can be up to 36 Guides in a unit (or company) and the ratio of adults to girls is one to twelve.The programme of activities for Guides is varied and exciting. The Guide programme has recently been updated and the list of opportunities open to a girl of guide age is almost endless. Within the unit meeting, new GO FOR IT packs are proving particularly popular - groups of activities around a theme that the girls can choose to do themselves as group challenges.
Outside the unit, there are many opportunities on offer within Guiding - from camping and adventure holidays to international experiences.
Like Brownies, Guides can choose what to wear from a variety of different pieces of uniform.
