A Walk In The Park! Free Fun in the Fresh Air

One thing that Bedfordshire has in abundance is green, open spaces, parks and countryside to explore. If you are wondering what to do over half term and how much it’s going to cost….maybe some free, fun in the fresh air may be what everybody needs!!! Pack a picnic and take a football and bucket & spade and you will find hours of fun for all age groups.
If younger children need encouraging on a walk get them to fill a bucket or bag with interesting things they find or let them take some binoculars or a magnifying glass for bug spotting. You can play hide & seek, and allow different members of the family be the leader, or pretend you are in a jungle and see how many lions and other animals you can spot lurking!
