Motorcycle sprinting is quarter-mile action for bikes of all types and ages. It is the art of riding a bike from a standing start for 1/4 mile in the shortest possible time - man and machine against the clock!
If you enjoy bikes you will love seeing road going machines lining up with fire breathing, super charged, methanol burning British classics or modern tuned bikes such as turbo charged hayabusas making huge power.
This will be the NSA’s 50th anniversary sprint. Tickets are £12.

Bring your family and friends, food and refreshments will be available all day. Good fun for the children and will also give them a real insight into emergency situations.

“It’s always nice to share your toys - but in a rush to share their favourite toys with the audience, Barney’s friends BJ, Riff and Baby Bop accidentally break their toys.
As always, Barney finds the bright lining behind the dark cloud - he’ll take the little dinos, and the audience, to a marvellous, magical toy factory where the toys can be repaired by the Imagination Machine - a fantastic device powered by children’s imagination!
Join your favourite dinosaur for ninety minutes of song, dance and fun…and when it comes to fun, Barney knows that nothing beats imagination… and friends you love!”

I could never have imagined how wonderful, and challenging, having a new baby could be until I had my little angel Ana Mary last year. She is now 1 and although I haven’t had a full nights sleep since she was born, I have transformed from a woman to a mother. My question is are we really informed enough during our pregnancy of this woman to mother transformation that like it or not is going to take place? Do we give ourselves enough space during our pregnancy to grieve our old lives and lifestyles? Is it therefore possible that postnatal depression is a grieving process, and or lack of preparation physically and emotionally, that on top of the marathon of birthing our babies, we are knocked over the edge and therefore classified as having postnatal depression (PDD)?

We all suffer from stress whether it is physical, emotional or environmental. Some stress we cannot control, such as the air that we breathe and the earth that we live on, however there are some areas of Stress that we do have control over, and these include the foods that we eat and our lifestyles. Japan has produced some of the finest driver and tuner cars of recent years, which have taken Britain by storm. The success of the Japanese car scene is not surprising, when Skylines, Evos, Imprezas, Supras and RX-7s are rocketing up the dragstrip quicker than the world’s fastest production cars. It’s easy to see how the Jap scene has emerged from the underground car culture to mainstream appeal, and 1/4 mile performance is the ultimate badge of honour.
The JapShow events at Santa Pod are the embodiment of the popularity of these cars, with Europe’s best competing in the HKS Drag Series, Run What Ya Brung open to everyone else, Drifting, Car Club Displays and much more.
