Harrold & Odell Country Park
The park lies at the eastern end of Harrold village but is actually within the parish boundaries of Odell. It is a wonderful amenity shared by the people of North Bedfordshire, and visited by people from far beyond the county boundaries.
The parks two tranquil lakes, picturesque riverbanks, woodland and water meadows are excellent for walking, and watching the thousands of birds that visit it every year. The paths are well marked and around the lake are suitable for pushchairs although can be muddy in winter time. There is an abundance of ducks to feed, and bird food to buy on site.
Facilities: Visitor centre open seasonally. There is also an area for older children to play which includes a tarmaced area with practise goal, kickwall, and basketball hoop. There are also cycle mounds.
Refreshments: Small cafe
Toilets: Yes
Entrance: Free
Parking: Plenty and free although there are contribution boxes
