Bedford By The Sea Returns
The giant sandpit will return to Harpur Square for four days of seaside related fun and frolics. Thousands of children will take advantage of the warm sunshine to play in the pit, watch Punch and Judy, and have their faces painted.
There will be four different shows daily with lots of traditional fun and laughter to delight young and old alike. All your favourites will be here, Joey the Clown with his sausages, the Crocodile and the Policeman , Mr Punch of course and his wife Judy and the Baby along with plenty of variety provided by some less familiar and sometimes surprising characters who date back to the earliest days of Punch & Judy.
